We recently got to work with a new client—local Milford band Digital Bath—on merch for an upcoming gig. They came to us with two fabulous designs they wanted printed on T-shirts to sell to their fans. With this much detail, color and personality in the artwork, we knew the decoration method mattered. We chose direct-to-garment (DTG) printing. DTG works a lot like an inkjet printer, except instead of printing onto paper, the design is printed directly onto the fabric. It allows us to reproduce detailed artwork, multiple colors, gradients and finer elements without having to separate every color onto an individual screen. In other words: all that great artwork gets to shine. The designs came out vibrant, detailed and exactly the way we hoped—and the Digital Bath team was thrilled with the finished shirts. This is why we spend time thinking about how something should be decorated, not just what goes on it. The right decoration method can make all the difference in the finished product. And we have a feeling these aren't going to last long at the merch table.
