After years of coaching, Rick Jenkins accepted the opportunity to spend one season at Marion Harding High School as the Offensive Coordinator, working alongside Head Football Coach Dan Arndt. From the very beginning, they shared the same philosophy. Football was about more than wins and losses. It was about building character, developing leaders, and giving young athletes every opportunity to succeed—both on and off the field. During his time at Harding, Rick also had the privilege of working alongside Ed McCants, who continues to make an impact today as Marion Harding’s Head Basketball Coach. Being surrounded by coaches who cared deeply about their students reinforced what Rick had always believed—that great coaches don’t just build teams, they build people. Although Rick coached at Harding for just one season, the friendships and respect built during that year have lasted a lifetime. When Coach Dan Arndt accepted the opportunity to become the Defense of Coordinator at River Valley High School, Rick joined him, and together they continued serving student-athletes and their community. Looking back, Marion Harding wasn’t simply another stop along Rick’s coaching journey. It was where lasting friendships were formed with coaches who shared the same passion for mentoring young people. Years later, when Rick retired from coaching and became owner of Fully Promoted Hollywood, that same desire to help schools never left.
