Once a year the promotional products industry takes over a Chicago convention center, and this year our team made the drive down from Brookfield to see it. ASI Show Chicago is where suppliers put their full catalogs on the floor: custom branded apparel, drinkware, tech accessories, bags, signage, and a long list of things nobody knew they needed until they held one. Our owners spent the show meeting supplier reps face to face, comparing decoration methods, and pulling samples of the lines that seem right for Wisconsin businesses heading into fall and holiday season. Trade show displays get competitive at a show like this. One booth built a full-size dinosaur sculpture. Another handed us a personalized pen that we are choosing to take as a sincere endorsement. The practical result is simple. When a Brookfield client asks whether a product is worth the budget, we have usually held it, and we know who makes it well.
