The Landing Bar & Grill fundraises every holiday season for ECHO (Emergency Care Help Organization) of Brandon, Florida, a local non-profit whose mission is to end hunger in Southeastern Hillsborough County. One of the major events The Landing hosts for ECHO of Brandon is an Annual Christmas Party in which guests donate food, clothes and toys to help provide assistance to those families in crisis. The festive event also includes a bake sale and raffle to help raise much needed funds for ECHO.
ECHO of Brandon helps families in crisis by providing emergency food, clothing, life-stabilizing programs and resources such as Free GED classes and Money Matters workshops. Since its inception 30 years ago, ECHO has provided assistance to a quarter million local residents. To learn more about ECHO of Brandon, visit their website. As winners of Fully Promoted's "Pay it Forward" Contest, The Landing has received 100 screen printed t-shirts, 100 reusable grocery totes and 100 water bottles to aide in their fundraising efforts. The grocery totes will be used to distribute the collected items, as well as a water bottle, to the local families in need. As for the t-shirts, ECHO will distribute them to the many volunteers that assist with their Annual Thanksgiving Common Dinner.
Over the past three years, The Landing Bar & Grill has raised more than $30,000 for those in need. "It is important to us to actively support our communities," says Tracy Dowdall and Bill Damiani, owners of the Landing Bar & Grill. "We love being an inspiration to pay it forward everyday."
Fully Promoted is proud to be helping The Landing Bar & Grill "Pay it Forward" to ECHO of Brandon, and applaud their efforts to help those within their community! The "Pay it Forward" contest is just one example of Fully Promoted's passion to give back. Whether it is raising money or volunteering for a worthy cause, community service is an integral part of our brand.
